Are you a pastor, a church leader, or training for leadership, and live in or near Rhode Island?  Are you committed to a faithful, expository preaching ministry?  Do you embrace the Reformed faith or are warm to it?

A number of pastors and church leaders in R.I. regularly gather for fellowship and prayer.  We are calling upon the Lord for reformation and revival in our day, pleading for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon ourselves, our churches, and our land. We generally meet once per month in R.I. or southern Massachusetts for several hours for sharing each other’s burdens, fasting and prayer.

If you are interested or know of someone who might be, drop me a note at mjives dot refparish at gmail dot com. Or if you are a pastor who is interested in exploring the Reformed faith, let me treat you to lunch or coffee!

“It is God’s will through His wonderful grace, that the prayers of His saints should be one of the great principal means of carrying on the designs of Christ’s kingdom in the world. When God has something very great to accomplish for His church, it is His will that there should precede it the extraordinary prayers of His people; as is manifest by Ezekiel 36:37. and it is revealed that, when God is about to accomplish great things for His church, He will begin by remarkably pouring out the spirit of grace and supplication.”

-Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758)
